This document is the Tyne and Wear Pension Fund Statement of Compliance with the UK Stewardship Code. The Stewardship Code aims to enhance the quality of engagement between investors and companies to help improve long-term risk-adjusted returns to shareholders. It is published by the Financial Reporting Council, an organisation responsible for promoting high quality corporate governance and reporting to foster investment.
