Pensions increase, P60 and payslip information

Overview

Pensioners are now able to access their P60 for the period 6 April 2023 to 5 April 2024 through their online mypension account. Monthly payslips are also available to view online.

If you haven't already activated your account, you can do so on the TWPF Registration page. We have lots of useful guides to help you activate and access your account on our Help using your mypension account page.

Once you have activated your account, we can keep you updated about your pension.

Pensions increase for 2024

Local Government Pensions are increased each April in line with the Consumer Price Index (CPI), also known as the 'Cost of Living Increase.'

The pensions increase this year is 6.7% and is effective from 8 April 2024.

The first increase to your pension after retirement will normally only be a proportion of the full increase, depending on how many months your pension has been in payment during the year.

More information about how your pension is increased can be found at LGPS member: How are pension increases calculated.

Your tax code

HMRC provide us with your new tax code each April. If you feel this is incorrect you will need to contact HMRC on 0300 200 3300 and query this information with them.

HMRC will be able to answer any queries you may have regarding your tax position, and you can also request that they send your correct tax code across to us.

Pension pay dates

Payments are paid into your bank account on the first working day following the 15th of each month. The payment dates can be found on our pension pay dates page.

If you need to change your bank details, please let us know as soon as possible as your payment may be delayed or misdirected and we cannot guarantee that your old bank will return your payment. See our change in circumstance page for information on how to update your bank details.
